01

Organisation boundary

Choose your consolidation approach, define your entity structure and set what’s in and out of scope, with guidance at every step before data submission begins.

02

Data management & submission

Bring Scope 1, 2 and 3 data into structured workflows, with validation as data arrives and progress visible across entities and categories.

03

Analytics & reporting

Break emissions data down by scope, category and entity, compare periods and take the underlying data with you for internal reporting.

Making complex emissions data work for
better business decisions

Validated carbon accounting

Every calculation traces back to source data and GHG Protocol-aligned emission factors, so your numbers stand up in an audit.

Live dashboards

Drill into emissions by scope, site, product or supplier on demand, no waiting on a quarterly refresh.

Reports for every stakeholder

Generate regulatory, voluntary and customer-facing reports in the formats each one needs.

All you need to know about CCF

What happens after we have our footprint?

CarbonChain doesn't stop at measurement. Live dashboards let you drill into every emissions source to find hotspots and reduction opportunities, so you can build decarbonisation pathways across your whole footprint rather than just filing a report.

Can we use our corporate footprint to secure financing or win customers?

Yes. A verified Scope 1, 2 and 3 inventory gives banks the transparency they need for sustainability-linked loans and better terms, and gives customers the emissions data they increasingly ask for.

How accurate are the emissions calculations?

Every footprint is built on supplier-specific, asset-level data rather than generic averages, with AI and human verification applied to every data point. The methodology is aligned to the GHG Protocol and re-validated by SGS, giving you figures customers, auditors and banks can rely on.

Is the output ready for CSRD and other regulations?

Yes. CarbonChain produces audit-ready reports aligned to the GHG Protocol and suitable for CSRD, sustainability disclosures, banking KPIs and other requirements. Our methodology has been independently validated by SGS, so the numbers hold up to scrutiny.

How much data do we need to provide to get started?

Bring what you have. CarbonChain works with your existing operations and supply-chain data in whatever format it's in, then fills the gaps using our emission factor database and supplier coverage. You don't need a complete, clean dataset before you begin.

Does CarbonChain cover all three scopes, including Scope 3?

Yes. CarbonChain calculates full Scope 1, 2 and 3 inventories. Scope 3 is usually the largest and hardest part of a corporate footprint because it depends on supplier data, so we enrich your own data with asset-level coverage of 11,000+ commodity suppliers, giving you defensible Scope 3 figures instead of broad industry averages.

How is a Corporate Carbon Footprint different from a Product Carbon Footprint?

A Corporate Carbon Footprint measures emissions across your entire organisation as full Scope 1, 2 and 3 inventories. A Product Carbon Footprint measures the emissions of a single product. With CarbonChain, both are calculated from the same dataset, so your corporate and product numbers stay consistent.

Your whole corporate footprint, in one place

From every site and supplier to a single company-wide number, CarbonChain gives you the data and tools to understand your emissions and decide what to do next.
